A total of 68 candidates were given assistance amounting to ₹ 1.16 crore to pursue overseas education under the Vivekananda Overseas Education Scheme.

The parishad had decided to provide one-time financial assistance to students hailing from BPL families, enabling them to continue their education through fee reimbursement and a total of six applications had been approved in this regard. It was decided to provide ₹ 2,500 as honorarium to Vedic scholars above 70 years and incentives to Brahmins pursuing Vedic studies. Under the Brahmin Entrepreneurial Development Scheme of Telangana, the parishad had approved 56 applications involving an estimated ₹ 3.29 crore towards self-employment schemes. "We want to make sure that ₹ 20 crore out of the ₹ 100 crore budget allocated is spent on entrepreneurs," Mr. Ramanachary said.

This was in addition to the requests approved for extending financial assistance to take coaching for competitive examinations including GRE/TOEFL. He wanted the district educational officers to take the initiative and spread awareness about the schemes launched by the Government for the welfare of the community.
