Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Bhubaneswar: Odisha Khadi & Village Industries Board in its move for widespread development of Khadi & Village industries in the State has today hold a convention of senior citizens in its conference hall.
Addressing the convention, the President of Odisha of Khadi & Village Industries Board (OK&VIB) Sri Tejeswar Parida expressed his thankfulness to the members & office bearers of the Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of Odisha(FSCAO) for their response to the Board's invitation and called upon them to share their experience, expertise and vision for development of Khadi & Village Industries. OK&VIB President stated that the Board has in its recent meeting passed a resolution to move the Govt. to allow additional 5% rebate on sales of Khadi to senior citizens.
